John A. Fitzpatrick

Mr. Fitzpatrick is an experienced trial attorney who has litigated jury trials for more than 34 years. He focuses his trial practice in defending serious personal injury cases, particularly in the areas of product liability, premise liability, construction site/ industrial accidents, toxic torts and motor vehicle/ insurance litigation. He is also a member of our firm’s asbestos defense litigation team. He has successfully defended cases in State and Federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, some of which involved escalators, elevators, scaffolding, construction hoists, loading dock lifts, forklifts and automated machinery used in corrugated paper plants and drywall plants. He has tried well over 100 cases to verdict.

John is a native Philadelphian. He is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Prep, 1967; St Joseph’s University, A. B. Economics, 1971; Villanova University, J. D. 1974. He is a member of the Bars of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland, and he is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
John was a former member of the board for St. Joseph’s University Law Alumni, and has lectured for the National Business Institute. He has received an AV rating by Martindale Hubbel.

John is married, with four children, and lives in Philadelphia.
