Lisa has spent her entire career successfully defending manufacturers, suppliers and premises owners involved in personal injury asbestos cases and currently serves as National Coordinating Counsel for a number of her clients.

In addition to her asbestos practice, Lisa has vast experience in defending other complex toxic tort cases including allegations of exposure to chemicals resulting from spills or improper applications; defense of landlords against childhood lead based paint claims; defense of landowners and contractors against lead based paint claims made by painters/ironworkers, and the defense of a water treatment company in a multi-plaintiff legionnaires disease case arising from a Hospital’s cooling towers.

In addition to the defense of complex toxic torts, Lisa has successfully defended design professionals in building defect cases, pest control companies in property damage cases, various general product liability claims and insurers in complex insurance coverage cases.

Commercial Union Insurance Co., 908 A.2d 888 (Pa. 2006) Wrote the original motion for summary judgment at the trial level for the insurer in which the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania reversed a Superior Court opinion and reinstated the award of summary judgment to National Union.
