Matthew L. Jones

During his time at Notre Dame, Mr. Jones served as a research assistant to Professor James H. Seckinger, preparing materials for use in Notre Dame’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop. Matt also was a Senior Articles editor for the Journal of College and University Law, published and refereed by the National Association of College and University Attorneys.

In the summer of 2013, Mr. Jones worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Susan Peikes Gantman, where he drafted several memorandum appellate decisions. Matt also served as an intern for the City of Philadelphia’s Labor and Employment Unit during Summer 2015, drafting litigation memoranda, including pre-trial motion filings and briefs used in arbitration hearings.

After law school, Mr. Jones served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Peter A. Bogaard, J.S.C., on the Superior Court of New Jersey. While working for Judge Bogaard, he drafted memorandum judicial opinions and prepared case summaries and legal analyses prior to motion hearings and trials.

Mr. Jones focuses his practice on toxic tort and products liability litigation.
